SciCafe: Providing Freshwater Inflow to the Apalachicola Estuary

Dr. Steve Leitman will discuss his work with the Apalachicola Bay Systems Initiative regarding freshwater inflow into the Apalachicola Estuary. He will review the capacity of the ACF reservoir system to alter the magnitude, timing, frequency and duration extreme flow events into the estuary both under the current Water Control Manual as well as changes which could be made to the current operating rules to address ecological issues associated with freshwater inflow.
