Now, after further study of tropical orchids and a 36-year career as Director of California’s Huntington Botanical Gardens (California), he has returned to the Panhandle to resume his studies as part of an active retirement. Jim and his wife Debra moved to St George Island recently renewing his decades-long interest in the Panhandle flora.
